Beloved Ones: We asked for it and the Universe complied – rain, rain and more rain. Even some snow!! As I drive down my street, I observe the most beautiful scene. The curb trees are a bloom with their awesome white blossoms against a backdrop of mountains covered with snow. Nature/God is certainly displaying Itself in all Its glory. The roses in my yard have taken a different approach to the cold and snow. They sent out one tiny sprout and said, “It is still winter out. I am not crazy. I am staying right where I am.” No more shoots have appeared. This is life. Each of us takes a different approach to life’s experiences and each is correct. We are individualized expressions of the Divine Intelligence/God. Each person will approach the same situation in a different manner and each approach is correct. Mankind is like the magnificent snow in the hills around us. Each snowflake is different. When one looks at the whole snow bank, they all look alike, but look at them one by one and they are each uniquely different. So it is with mankind. Enjoy the uniqueness of yourself and others. Lots of love, Elizabeth |
WE CARE MINISTRY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To be there for our Center’s Family and Friends when they are experiencing health challenges and life changes. This is done by calling, sending cards, making home and/ or hospital visits. The We Care Ministry’s umbrella covers the Guest Book, Food Basket, and taking Easter Lilies and Poinsettias to the Nursing Home. MINISTRY UPDATE The We Care Ministry was there for Margie’s Home Going Celebration on January 29th 2023 at the Center. Margie was more than a member of the Center, she was our “sister,” she was “family” and it was beautifully expressed in many ways during her Home Going Celebration. The We Care Ministry would like to express sincere thanks and appreciate to everyone who helped to make Margie’s Home Going a true Celebration. |
The Eulogy was given by Nettie Fluker, RScP. Rev. Pat made the beautiful flyers. A friend of the family and her caregiver Venus provided pictures for her photo collage. The Center’s Technician made it possible for it to be seen on Zoom. The We Care Ministry gave two beautiful plants. Margie’s Home Going was truly a “Celebration,” celebrated by her Church family and friends. The We Care Ministry is holding a loved member in prayer and is reaching out to her with phone calls, text messages and cards. It is the Ministry’s pleasure to be of service because “We Care.” Dr. Elizabeth Marshall Practitioner Tina Lee, Treasurer Practitioner Nettie Fluker, Chairperson |
